AJPE Achieves Major Milestone: Now Registered with Crossref and Indexed in Leading Databases
The Asian Journal on Perspectives in Education (AJPE) is proud to announce a significant milestone in its mission to advance educational research and scholarship. AJPE is now officially registered with Crossref (www.crossref.org), a globally recognized organization that provides Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to scholarly publications.
Crossref is a nonprofit membership organization that connects scholarly research through its extensive citation-linking network. By assigning DOIs, Crossref ensures that published works are uniquely identified, persistently linked, and easily discoverable across international research databases, library systems, and indexing services. This development will greatly enhance the visibility, accessibility, and citation tracking of all AJPE articles worldwide.
In addition to this achievement, AJPE has also transitioned to PKP Publication Services/Open Journal Systems (OJS) (https://pkp.sfu.ca), a leading open-source platform for managing and publishing scholarly journals online. OJS provides AJPE with a robust system for manuscript submission, peer review, editorial workflow, and online publication, further strengthening the journal’s commitment to best practices in academic publishing.
AJPE is also indexed and abstracted in leading international and national databases, including:
- EBSCOhost (www.ebsco.com) — a premier research database used by libraries and institutions worldwide;
- BASE (Bielefeld Academic Search Engine) (www.base-search.net) — one of the world’s largest search engines for academic open-access web resources;
- Scilit (https://www.scilit.com/) — a comprehensive scholarly database developed by MDPI, indexing scientific literature across disciplines in real time;
- Philippine National Library (www.web.nlp.gov.ph) — the national repository of the Philippines that catalogs and preserves scholarly publications;
- Academic Resource Index – ResearchBib (www.researchbib.com) — a multidisciplinary academic database covering journals, conferences, and researchers worldwide;
- Andrew Gonzalez Philippine Citation Index (https://pcijournals.org) — a citation index dedicated to enhancing the visibility of Philippine-based academic journals and research.
These indexing partnerships, combined with the adoption of OJS and registration with Crossref, significantly expand AJPE’s global and national reach, making its publications accessible to researchers, educators, and practitioners across disciplines and regions.
The AJPE editorial team extends its deepest gratitude to the authors, reviewers, editorial board members, and readers whose commitment and support have made these achievements possible. These milestones reflect AJPE’s unwavering dedication to publishing high-quality, peer-reviewed research that addresses critical issues in education and fosters scholarly dialogue.
As AJPE continues to strengthen its international and national presence, the journal warmly invites scholars and researchers to submit their work and become part of its growing academic community.
