Peer Review Procedure

The AJPE follows a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality and integrity of its publications. Upon submission, manuscripts are initially screened by the editorial team to assess their suitability for the journal's scope and compliance with submission guidelines.

The manuscript is anonymized and sent to at least two expert reviewers in the relevant field. These reviewers evaluate the manuscript on several criteria, including originality, clarity, methodology, significance, and contribution to the field of education. Reviewers provide constructive feedback and recommend one of the following outcomes: (1) acceptance, (2) minor revisions, (3) major revisions, or (4) rejection.

The editorial team compiles the reviewers' comments and communicates the decision to the author(s). If revisions are required, authors must resubmit their revised manuscript, which may undergo additional rounds of review before a final decision is made. The AJPE is committed to a fair, transparent, and timely review process, ensuring that all manuscripts are evaluated thoroughly and impartially.

The AJPE is published biannually, with issues released in April and October.
